Šis projekts man deva vērtīgu pieredzi, jo tas bija mans pirmais projekts.
This project gave me valuable experience because it was my first project. Likewise, for the children in my group, it provided new experiences, knowledge, and various discoveries. The tasks included in the project were very well thought out and purposeful. The children had the opportunity to understand how paper is made, as well as to participate in its creation themselves. The tasks were very interesting and easily integrated into the learning process, and we could also involve parents in them. This project sparked the children's interest in other countries, their languages, customs, and culture. By participating in such a well-planned project, we realized that we would be happy to get involved again in the future, as it provides new knowledge and enriches our experience.

The “Eco-Friendly Production with Little Hands” project brings much more than ecology. It has helped develop skills, attitudes and values that last a lifetime. With it, we teach children to think ecologically:
* begin to understand where the materials we use come from
* realize that resources are not infinite
* form habits of separate collection and responsibility towards nature.
The children learned more through practical scientific knowledge. They watched the paper turn to mush, then solid again, saw cause-and-effect relationships, and improved their observation, comparison, and classification skills.
The sensory simulation - tearing the paper, stirring the pulp, spreading it on a sieve, and decorating - developed better fine motor skills and sensitivity in the children.
By bringing the children together around a common goal, we improved teamwork and had great social and communicative activities.
The second life of objects unlocked our and children's imagination and improved creative thinking and imagination.
The children show that they are happy with the joint product created and that we have turned trash into something beautiful.
The project is community-based and very impactful. Working with international colleagues gave us new inspirations. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in your project! We are happy to have friends like you!

We are carrying out the “Eco-Friendly Production with Little Hands” eTwinning project with great enthusiasm through strong collaboration with our partners. During this 12-week journey, we create our own paper, prepare natural paints, and bring our recycling-themed stories to life through art and voice. Learning by doing and experiencing together with our students, I am truly delighted to be part of an inspiring project that places environmental awareness at the heart of early childhood education.

In this project, my preschool students experienced recycling through hands-on learning. We created our own paper from waste materials, prepared organic paints using natural ingredients, and brought a recycling-themed story to life through illustrations. The process progressed smoothly and enjoyably as planned, supported by strong collaboration with our project partners. Seeing the students actively involved at every stage and achieving meaningful learning outcomes was truly rewarding for me.

The project was purposefully planned and consistently implemented, integrating different educational areas and competencies. The activities encouraged children’s curiosity, active involvement, and hands-on experience, allowing them to explore the principles of sustainable production, recycling, and responsible consumption through direct engagement. Children had the opportunity not only to observe but also to create, experiment, explore materials, and discover creative solutions.
The interdisciplinary nature of the project was particularly valuable – cognitive, artistic, communication, social, and emotional competencies were developed naturally through meaningful activities. Creative tasks (paper making, paint creation, musical instrument production, drama activities) fostered children’s self-expression, cooperation, sense of responsibility, and self-confidence. Children became more confident in expressing their ideas, learned to work in groups, follow agreements, and reflect on their own activities.
The project also contributed to the development of environmental awareness – children understood why it is important to sort waste, protect nature, and creatively reuse secondary materials.
Special value was added to the project through close and professional cooperation among partners. Regular communication, sharing of ideas, experiences, and educational materials ensured the quality, consistency, and diversity of activities. Mutual support and openness among partners enabled the creation of joint activities that broadened children’s cultural horizons and promoted intercultural understanding.
